Combined Insurance has been around since 1921 offering accident and supplemental benefits. We are currently hiring for agents working in the Treasure Valley. We provide a guaranteed base plus commission, all expenses paid training in Chicago for 11 days, field training, assigned leads and promotion potential. Also, you will be a W2’ed employee. No surprise tax payments due at the end of the year like a 1099 employee.

No sales experience required – we will provide a complete, proven sales system

What we are looking for:
Work ethic – much of your time will be independent – you control your schedule
Must be 18 with an HS diploma or 21 without
Possess or the ability to get your insurance license
A car with insurance
No felonies / good driving record
Willingness to talk to strangers!

We pay $1,850 the first month and $400 a month thereafter, plus an excellent commission and bonus structure. $30-50,000 first year income is extremely possible. Many are doing more.

Summary of position responsibilities:

The Account Representative role grows sales and achieves annual goals by personally visiting current and potential school directors a minimum of four times per year to development new and long-term relationships. They assure full schedules for photographers; submit daily activity to the home office; and represent the company with pride, professionalism and integrity.

Portrait Consultants return to schools 2-3 weeks after the photo session to sell pre-printed portrait packages and/or additional portraits to parents. This position requires flexibility with late afternoon/early evening hours as consulting sessions are typically scheduled from 3 pm — 6 pm weekdays. Using established presentation methods, consultants facilitate the sale and ordering of additional portraits, accurately calculate and collect payments and send paperwork, unsold portraits and payments to the Accounting Department per weekly schedules. If the director agrees to hold and present portraits to parents who were unable to attend the selection session, Portrait Consultants may leave portrait packets and retrieve portraits and/or payments within 2 weeks for processing in Accounting

The position offers entrepreneurial opportunity without personal financial investment and the resources of a 50+ year old industry leader; a daytime schedule that includes no weekend appointments and no weekend travel;; continuous coaching/training in sales; a fuel reimbursement plan; Medical / Dental / Vision and 401k plans. Uncapped commission. Training pay is offered before moving to a full commission salary.

Requirements:

1-2 years experience in sales, retail, or customer service

Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with current and new customers

Detail oriented, patient; and accurate with good planning, problem-solving and organizational skills

Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to ever changing environments.

Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.

Education:

High school graduate or GED required
